Yes, thats excactly what I'm doing. But I used "Thailand" and "Symbol", and there are not too many suitable pics. Your link looks much more promising, thank you!

At the moment my favorites are the garuda (http://www.thai-la.net/form/garuda.jpg) and the royal forest dept. logo (I used to work for them). I can't find any higher resolution pics for these though.
I also like the logo of HM the king's 60th year on the throne. Can I use it on a non-yellow shirt?
