Are you sure they're blurring out bank notes, not drugs, alcohols, or weapons? Sure, the censorship in Thailand right now has become very ridiculous and idiotic in some cases, but I see no reasons to blur out bank notes. However, if those notes are related to illegal businesses in the lakorn then that may be a possible explanation, but still very unusual anyway. But I'm quite certain that they're not doing that in respect for HM the King.
