even if the dog is killed, the owner might figure out and take revenge? if it's just a rented house, and it seems so hopeless, I would rather move..... dogs can even kill such small kids.

This is a good ethics question

I'd probably kill the dog. Only because the dog is a threat to the neighborhood, family, and myself! If it was a matter of karma, most shop owners would consider themselves as helping the dog to the next life.

I think Steve mentioned that the owner really doesn't care about this dog. Most people don't seem to mind when dogs die in sois, or klongs for that matter.

Poisoning does seem like a pretty crude way of killing it. Any other ideas?
