Trangam, don't worry I'm not upset you asked, more glad you did, in fact. Really, I can tell you, half a year ago, I also didn't know what it was.

It's like a webpage (follow the links given, and you'll see some examples), where the service-provider gives you a ready-made tool to make it easy for you to simply use their format and you have a ready-made webpage for you to use at once. And they host your webpage or "blog" for free as well. Your part would be to simply fill that page with words, or some people fill it with pictures, some are filling it with links to sounds and songs, some are starting to experiment with VDO clips. You could add new stuff everyday, if you're up to it, or once in a couple of months. The things you "log" in are recorded on your page in a chronological order. What you write today will go on top of what you wrote yesterday, and so on.

The program I use is provided for FREE, called BLOGGER. So you can try it without any expense. You will only have to register and start writing. If you are a person with a lot to say, it's entertaining and challenging. The rewards are that you've expressed yourself and somebody on the other side of the world just might discover your blog and find that you've got exactly the same interests so if you allow, he or she will start commenting on your blog and you might be able to build yourself a community of like-minded people.

BTW, www.diaryhub.com offers a free thai blogging tool, created single-handed by one persistent, enterprising young Thai (17 yrs old). Pls check it out.

It is still a relatively new thing. As a blogger myself, I find the tools (and the medium) fails to achieve what I want to do, but if I wait around, I won't get anything written, right? If anyone starts a blog because of happening upon this page, I would jump around in joy. Please consider this space an open space to advertise your blog, OK? Because I know how lonely it is to start out on your own. So if you need company to encourage you, ask here.

May all our gamlangjai be with you
May that unique kwampenthai be with you wherever you go
Bless you Smiaw, for your blessings. You're one of the souls on the other side of the world that makes me feel that it is all great fun!
