New World's Worst Mother Sends Her Adopted Child Back to Russia Alone - Russia - Gawker

A 7-year-old who'd been adopted by a woman in Tennessee was sent back to the Motherland—by himself—earlier this week with a note explaining he had psychological problems and she'd been deceived by the adoption agency.

so sad. i wonder if she tried to get help. i know it can be extremely difficult to find help when you have a child with mental health issues. not saying that it's "okay" that she returned him if she had tried to get him help and ran into brick walls, but it would make it easier for me to understand.

after the week i've had at work, i'm quite glad she didn't give him an overdose of methadone, diphenhydramine, morphine, or rat poison...intentional pediatric poisonings are on a rise and it makes work very sucky.
