I have had a few experiences with past life regression, but two of them happened when I was not really trying...which may sound odd.
The first time, I was wide awake, but lying in bed in a motel room getting ready to get up for the morning. I "out of the blue" heard very clearly in my head, as if someone else was speaking to me, the name "Sarah Gwynn Mills". I remember being incredulous, astounded and more than a little freaked out! Later that morning, i took my two young children and walked about 1/2 mile, seeing an old cemetery with just about 20-30 stones, I went about checking the names. There several with the surname Mills, though I saw no mention of "Sarah".
I know this is getting a bit long...but what I want to relay is that somehow I just KNEW that I had been her. I got the sense that she was a suicide and so was not buried there with the rest, but elsewhere...it was very strange.
Without getting into the other two instances, I guess I would say that I feel I may have gained some insight into poor choices of the past(for me, mostly self pity and drama).
In this life I have had much of the same and only now, at 45 have I begun to truly get a handle on being in the NOW and not taking on other people's "stuff". I believe that this has been a lesson that has taken lifetimes already, so I'm really working on it now
I hope that this is not too convoluted a post and that you gain some insight yourself.
