Also, could there be a reason as to why I get teary when I see a romantic movie, or something that has to do with love.

But when is something about death or sadness I dont et teary at all.

Could it be because I am not with the person I live and everytime I see a romantic or love based movie my subconscious relates it to my personal life?

i can truly understand and feel what you are saying and feeling your answer is in your question i myself wasted many years of crying to movies like that as deep down inside it was something i craved for .then one day when i finally parted from my husband i am now able to watch romantic movies in peace without a tear, on the other hand i am crying when i see abused films .i thinks we all should look for the answers in our own questions as we know deep down inside trust in oneself and good luck and peace be with you
