do plants have feelings
This began in the spring when it was time to clean out and weed my rock garden. As I began to weed, I became extremely sensative to the ripping noise of the roots as I was pulling them up. I did finish weeding but since that day, I have not touched the rock garden and have let it run wild.
So I planted roses next to the brick patio about a month or so ago. It was my good fortune that there were very few weeds to clear as there was mulch where I planted the roses. After planting the roses, I noticed some weeds and grass sprouting up between the bricks on the patio and I started pulling them out. Again I was bothered by the ripping noise, as I paused I thought to myself "something living has struggled to take a foot hold in life in probably the only space available to it."
It is really nice when you can actually see a chain of events come about and brought to a head with affirmation and confirmation. This came about with Serendipity's offer of a reading using the guide of a plant life force. There is no question in my mind that plants do have feeling.
I guess it is all in how you balance things. Will I ever "weed" my rock garden again, perhaps but by letting things grow as they will, I noticed that there are some wild carrots growing there.
