In my book The Daemon: A Guide To Your Extraordinary Secret Self I discuss the neurological evidence for the existence of a being I call "The Daemon". I also suggest ways in which communication channels may be opened by which we can directly communicate with this entity. In my research for my forthcoming book on Astral Travel (publication date November 2011) I have come to the conclusion that the "guides" experienced in OOB states are possible manifestations of "The Daemon" .... aka "The Higher Self". My books explain exactly what this being is and how it can help you both during ecsomatic experiences and also in your day-to-day existence. I also explain the source of this beings knowledge. However, and this is of the utmost importance, I do this by applying known science. This hypothesis is grounded in what we already know about the structure of the brain, neurochemistry and quantum physics.

I am already working with a handful of psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, psycho-analysts, hypnotists, meditation trainers, Jungian analysts and physicists to find a way whereby channels of communication can be opened between the "everyday self" (what I term "The Eidolon") and the Daemon. We have already had a degree of success and have one or two interesting results.
