Agreed, is it true that they are cooler? Or it depends on how exposed to the wind it is? By mountains, I refer to the hills of Sosúa!
I don't know if the slight elevation brings any relief from a very hot day. I would think that it depends upon how the property is exposed to the afternoon and evening sun and also if that location receives a good breeze. Properties closer to the beach area of Cabarete, I think, are more likely to have a breeze for the same reason that Cabarete Bay is good for wind based sports and Sosua beach is not good for such sports.
