Frank Ocean
Ok, this guy is the first gay / bisexual R'n'B artist raising to stardom.
I am listening to his debut album "Channel Orange" for the first time now, but I am quite suprised and impressed that this album is actually far away from typical R'n'B cliché and it's experimenting with other musical styles.
A critic's darling, praised by the blogspehere, a very recent coming out, so maybe I am a bit too impressed by all of it. The album is quite a long ride with 17 tracks and it's hard to judge it only based on one listen.
I am not sure if I will come back for this album often, but I will surely revisit it. It is simply too good to be ignored.
Frank Ocean is currently No.1 on iTunes in 12 countries with this album.(US, UK, Canada, Australia...).
