Interesting.. that's how I pronounced it. :P But I have also taken a little German.

I did not know they where called Dackel or Teckel. That's interesting.

Another one that drives me crazy is Chihuahua. I notice a lot of people spell it how its pronounced. It took me a little while to get to where I could spell it. Basically all I did was 'Chi -Hooa-Hooa' Chihuahua XD I don't know how it clicked but it did with me.
