There is an aggressive, loud, spitz-type just two houses down from me with an electric fence front yard. If I go right, there's a busy street. If I go left, there's the snarling, barking dog. So I always tried to sneak around the corner as quietly as possible. Because even our most dog-friendly dogs would get real puffed up at that dog. About a year ago, I was driving down the road past that house and that dog was running around in the front yard, and it just ran out the electric fence to the neighbors porch! I slowed down to watch for a while and it went back to its own yard eventually. But ever since then, I just walk on the busy street or drive somewhere. WAY too dangerous. Maybe make a habit of going through backyards? or driving to another neighborhood?
