I didn't know that...even still, at least get the ball rolling-these rescues might know someone. You better believe if I had only two weeks to find a spot for me and my dog-I'd be doing everything known to man to do that....And I damn sure wouldn't be giving up so easily..."oh, I really don't want to, but it looks like I'm going to have to give my dog up...man this sucks, oh well...hey ya'll, who are you going to vote for?"

It just occurred to me that many rescues will do "courtesy listings" where they list someone's dog on their website or petfinder page but don't actually take any responsibility for, or possession of the dog.
