If you're the type of person who developed a weight problem (and you may not be), it would be unusual for you to be able to reach ketosis at 5% of 1650 calories. That's over 80 carbs.
You can definitely eat too much protein and it will ultimately convert to fat if you eat too much of it. It's *always* a point of contention but the general consensus rule of thumb is to eat .7 to 1.0 times your ideal body weight in grams of protein. Drop that carb count down to 20-40 for now.
If you are counting calories, just subtract 400 or 500 kCals from your BMR.
SOOOOoooo, lets just take a hypothetical example:
A 5'4" 35 year old 200 pound sedentary female would have a BMR of about 2000 calories per day.
If that female is wanting to lose weight to 150 pounds quickly AND IS CONCERNED WITH PRESERVING MUSCLE she would eat:
1500-1600 calories a day (BMR - 500)
105-150 g protein (.7 * desired weight)
20-40 grams carbs at first (a low carb amount)
If you don't care about preserving muscle (preserving that muscle is not all good- it DOES make your weight loss take longer), then don't even worry about your protein, just watch the carbs.
My two cents, though :^)
