Thanks for the responses. I played with ball position at the range today, with some success. It may also be that my setup (with the club) was resulting in a lower ball flight. I noticed that if I didn't pay attention I tended to have the shaft leaning forward at address.

That could be a factor or your simply raising up due to the longer club and catching it thin. I've found that the Mashie 4h is a pretty high launch for me and I'm not a big swinger.
