In case anyone else was interested...
I had a 30 minute lesson today and had the pro look at this. He did recommend moving the ball up a little, but that was only a minor factor. The key was that my head was in front of the ball, leading to a much lower ball flight. He had me add more spine angle to get my head behind the ball, and it really changed the trajectory. If I can get this onto the course, I'll definitely be holding greens with my hybrids.
