Many people here stay on induction (or at least induction levels) for extended periods. It depends on how much you need to lose. If you're only losing 10-20 pounds, it's probably not necessary. If you're losing 100 pounds, you may consider it.

People who are carrying more weight tend to lose at a faster rate than people closer to their goal. Many people have larger losses at the beginning, then settle in at 1-2 pounds per week - which is healthy. It's gets harder when you're closer to goal.

We can't tell you if 120 is a realistic goal by September without knowing what you weigh now.

If you build muscle easy, then I would stick to 2-3 days of weight training. You should try to get in 3-5 days of cardio, too, which is so important in burning fat.
