Hmmm... I guess the model I have is the cheapest one, because I see they;ve got ones now with cupholders and stuff... No you cannot adjust the resistance on mine.
It tells you DISTANCE, CALORIES, SPEED, and TIME.
I do have to confess one thing though. Because of the gliding motion you may have a tendency to lock your knees because it makes gliding easier but if you do this you'll start getting weird pains on the sides of your knee. As long as you rememeber to keep your knees bent it's okay but I remember when I first started out this happened and I had to step back and see what I was doing wrong. It was locking the knees.
Anyway, I really do like it. Yes it's cheap but it's just metal and plastic and like I said I've never had any problems and it's great if you just need something to do in the mornings or if you want to walk a little more while watching TV or something.
