I finally started to exercise
I had put a post up here a few weeks back about how I just could not get my self into exercise, and I got lots of encouragment. Well I finally started doing some exercises yesterday. I started with some simple floor stretches and riding my bike. Ok here is the problem, I can not reach a target heart rate, as my legs turn to jello in about 2 min. ( and that is being generous
) I am so out of shape it is unreal. I guess my question is should I work on builing strength at first, cause I will never be able to do any type of cardio at this rate. How can I do cardio if my muscle won't let me???? Does this make any sense?
(I think my body is in freak out mode...cause I am one of the laziest people on the planet.) should I just keep riding my bike although I only lasted 5 minutes. I know over time I will be able to increase my strength and endurance, but what is the best way to get the ball rolling until my body realizes I mean business
