First of all, have you ever even TRIED to lob a 64 degree wedge? And then try it off a surface that is as tight and hard as a pool table? And then in the direction that has a water hazard not far behind the target?
Frankly, I don't think anybody has ever hit that shot in the history of the game.
oh I am sorry Ben Hogan have I somehow offended you? I practice the flop all the time, of course it never works when I try it in game, but since I have had kids I dont get out nearly as much as Id like. if I can flop on a practice shot, little old me that doesnt hardly get out much I would expect that any pro with a little practice could add that shot to their repertoire. and it doesnt matter if there is water behind the pin, an old lady or Ming vase, its a hard shot regardless.
