Of course, I play my best round of the year on November 20th, when I generally have put the clubs to rest. But yesterday was such a beautiful day that I had to give it a go.
10 pars, 6 bogies and 1 double (three putts). Shot 80, but it could have very easily been a 76 if I could putt. I missed three birdie putts inside 6 feet and multiple other makeable putts. I made one putt over 15 feet, and that was it. I drove it in play all day, and hit a lot of greens.
While I didn't putt well, I was really excited with the way I hit the ball. It's so nice to finish the swing and see the ball flight you envisioned before the shot. The only bummer is that this is the first year in about 10 that I didn't break 80.
