You give him no slack for wanting to do good things w/ all the money he has made? I think that is wrong.
I think it is disingenuous to say more than anything else, it is a tax writeoff. That is obviously a huge thing, but you are saying he wouldn't do it if it weren't for the tax writeoffs. You don't know that. And even if it is solely because of the tax writeoffs, does that make him a bad person? An intentional act that creates a lot of good, no matter the intent behind the action still equals good in my opinion.
