john daly does not and has not ever had even a tenth of the talent mickelson has.

here's his resume since you seemingly know nothing about him since you believe he doesn't warrant the hype.

37 pga tour wins(12th most all time, and will easily get into the top 10 before he is done, and one of those was as an amateur), 6 european tour wins, 6 other wins world wide. finished top 10 in over 40% percent of the majors he has played in. certainly not worth the hype.

john daly has 5 pga tour wins, 19 total world wide. finished top 10 in a major 3 times and has been cut in over 40% of the majors he has been in.
