I'll be heading to this course for the second time in as many years. This is one of those where you really have to know somebody to get on. It is out in the middle of nowhere basically. Most people playing at this course use a chopper to get in. Last year when I played there, we were one of four groups playing all day on a gorgeous day. It is quite an experience. They also had a very good meal waiting for us after hole #12 before we kept going.

I wouldn't call these even the best pictures of the place. South Dakota certainly isn't known for having premier golf courses, but this one definitely stands out. Vijay Singh spent the entire week before the US Open this year warming up at this course.

Anyone else have experiences at courses like this?
