so a few weeks ago, i get my monthly email from the minnesota golf association with my handicap revision. they also have some advertising, so i check out a link for buying tickets to the 2009 pga championship, which is at hazeltine in minnesota. i go to the site, and notice a link for volunteering for the championship. i says to myself, that would be a great way to spend a week of vacation, working for the pga at a course not far from me. after submitting my application, i'm told i will receive more information in the near future.

fast forward to today...i open my mailbox and see a package from the pga. i'm instantly excited and tear it open. inside i find a letter and a dvd. the letter begins, and i quote, "You must be wondering why we send you Lowering your score: the complete short game and Off the tee: maximum distance & accuracy?" you're damn right i'm wondering, i volunteer to help your association and you monkey fuckers send me a dvd and tell me if i don't return it within two weeks i'm going to be billed for it?

now don't get me wrong, it's probably not a bad dvd and i'm even considering taking a look at it. but seriously, someone wants to work for you, for a week, for free, and you say fuck let's stick this clown with a series of dvd's that we can make money off of?

those cocksuckers better choose me to volunteer next year or i'll never forgive them.
