Puke speaks the truth. With the advances made the last few years, you could actually use that driver AS a 3 wood and be fine.

I can't fully remember the warbird, I know I had it and snapped it at the hosel, damn bore through design is horrendous, but I don't recall the face being shallow enough for it to suffice as a three wood...but i'm sure it could

I remember hitting my 975D off the deck numerous times
