I couldn't hit the ball at all last weekend. We played Thursday night and I shortened my swing and started pounding it with a draw. Shot 41 and then birdied the 10th, bogeyed 11 and we quit.

Today I stuck with it. Shot 42 on the front, double bogeyed 1, and kept on trying to persevere. Shot 42, 6 over on the front. That's in line with my 12 handicap.

I ended up with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys on the back, so par on the back. Par on the back is 34.

76. I'm damn happy and won a ton of money, although my buddies ended up drinking it up.
Nice. Aren't we always in pursuit of the Holy Grail?

I'd struggled all spring. Dinked around with a few things, but meh.

In league Thursday I was charmed. Almost holed out from one bunker and sand saves aren't my thing.

Got into the clubhouse with 38. All I could think was that my league handicap will probably be 3 or 4 next week since they don't appear to weight the number from the year before.

It was fun. Hoped to go out this weekend, but side work yesterday and the yard today took that out of the plan.
