I never take it back so far the my left arm bends anymore. Chip and putt is the name of the game. I crushed a drive the other day and put my skycaddy on it for yardage, only 260. Another hole, uphill, only 235. The great majority of them don't reach that.

I didn't get my score with the long ball, it was chip and putt as you say. That's the name of the game but I don't think any of us practice it enough.

Ditto me.

I've made a conscious effort to chip more before a round and focus when I practice putting.

The old-fashioned elbows out style of putting has helped me control the putting stroke better this year.
