I've got a big problem with this. Not because I don't feel women deserve the chance to play with men. In fact, if they can, go right ahead.

But, there's other things that have to be looked at:
  1. It's called the Men's PGA Tour for a reason. Men play on it. If women play on it, it wouldn't be the Men's PGA Tour anymore.
  2. If a woman wants to join the Men's tour because she feels she can compete, why can't a man join the Women's tour? I can only imagine the uproar that would cause.
Seriously, if they want to compete against each other, the two Tours should get together and host a couple of tourneys in which both genders may compete.
Actually, it's not called the Men's PGA Tour.

It's just called the PGA Tour.

Men can't join the LPGA Tour because their rulebook has rules against it.
The PGA Tour rulebook does not have any gender specific rules.
