However, there is a point to be made about earnings. Let's say 5 women qualify... that means 5 guys who could have made money by being in the tournament don't get that chance. And the men don't have a chance to go elsewhere and win some money.

Those 5 guys could have had a chance to make money by being in the tournament if they had beaten those 5 women .......... They didn't.
