Like I said in the Masters thread,

I root against any athlete that the media has decided that they need to routinely fellate.

Gordon
Bonds
Tiger
Jeter
Duke
UNC

the media will generally flock to the best...hate what you want, but you are hating them because they are good? for instance the media loved jordan...why does that make anyone like him any less? if he's good (tiger and most others on that list) that's what people want to see. or would you rather them show the 10th guy on the bench that nobody wants to see?

i have never understood that...
