I've closed the face to the point that the face is nearly facing the ground...and I straighten it out a bit. I'm sure I'm opening my shoulders up too much, but I just can't seem to shake it. Of course, then there's that one dog leg right that suits my shot perfectly, and I wail away...and it goes about 300 yards...straight...arrrrggggghhhh

Anyway, I do try to play the slice, but it's more of a boomerang action...almost guaranteed 90 degree turn...
Well, I did have a similar-type slice shot, almost 20 years ago when I started playing sorta regular.


And I just can't remember back that far. There is something to be said for "consistency" ... ;-) ... but I certainly understand the frustrations of it ...

That's really what you "pay" for isn't it ??... well, that's the way it was for me ...


There is no substitute for just playing and playing and playing .... which is something wives and significant others LOVE to be understanding about ...
