That was my point.

If only using one IP address, your point is quite valid. From the view of the board, that is a great security feature.

However, there are outside issues that cannot be solved by this feature, which would bypass this feature altogether. I am not talking about brute force attacking the server that the forum software is installed on. The type of attack I am referring to is something that is difficult for a board to protect against, since it is simply not part of the administrative options, nor even a part of the board software itself.

It deals with email, and that is all I am saying.
