OMG drive it! That's what you bought it for....why put the extra money into renting? 2400 miles in a year, over and above regular use...pfft, that's nothing.

I'd put 200 miles on my car every weekend to visit my ex, never gave it a 2nd thought, and that was with a 2003 Ford Focus.
