I've had that same problem for many years with patchy dry areas and some with oily spots. I have tried many OTC ( Over the counter) moisturizers to Signature brands ( Este Lauder, Clinique etc) nothing worked. Till a friend introduced these products to me.

1) Arbonne: Botanical, pure ingredients and none of the mineral oil containing ingredients from other moisturizers. Thru researches, mineral oil blocks the skin like a thin plastic film and hence no matter how much we moisturize it doesn't get absorbed by the skin to bring back it's baby skin glow and smoothness. They're just a bit on the expensive side but it works as it self adjusts.

2) Meaningful Beauty: This is what I am currently using as Arbonne's gotta go due to budget. This works well too. It also uses botanical and pure ingredients and non mineral oil containing. I love their products. It's very mild yet it works.
