V did you ask the doctor for a letter stating her "opinion" about your condition ?
I would stay very calm and ask for documentation for Hummm "work purposes".. But that is just me..
When my wife ( now ex ) had a bitch for a doctor and had to have delivery of our son, we documented everything.. Even if in Canada it is much harder to sue for malpractice, doctors know that courts take doctors letters and documentation in much more consideration than anything else.
Having dealt with health issues for over 28 years, personally myself, I have learned a few tricks that can quickly lower the ego of any doctor to a normal human being..
But above all, do not stress yourself out over this.. It is NOT worth your baby and your own health.. Find a quick alternative solution ( Another doctor or clinic ) to go too..
