She was born in Auckland but moved to the U.S. when she was six months old. They go back all the time. As far as sleep is concerned, don't stay in bed if you can't fall asleep. Get up, move around, and then try again. My sister found that she had too much on her mind when she was trying to fall asleep so now she listens to soft music to stop thinking about things.
