For me, it was easier to do my long round first, then do shorter rounds to follow. I really think you cement your losses better on the longer rounds. The closer you get to goal, the less you lose per day, and per round, and it's easy to get discouraged....that's why I think a long round to start with gets you more bang for the buck.

With pcos, you really need to get your carbs and sugars in check....pretty much paleo/primal for life. Not just for your weight, but for all the hormonal issues involved. It's a mindset kind of thing...but for me, the long round helped me get all the carbs and sugar out of my system and off my mind. I eat a very bland, repetitive diet while on p2, but learned that I was eating for nourishment, not for pure pleasure....then I learned to find pleasure in other areas outside food. The long round changed my life.
