Hey guys! I am new here! I am starting the HGC diet, but I just started my period. You see, I was on birth control pills for 2 years, and I didn't want to stay on them while doing the HGC diet. So, I stopped taking my BC pills, and now I have a heavy, painful period. I am afraid to start the HGC diet while I am bleeding because of what I read in the book, but I am happy to hear that some of you are saying that it's ok to take the HGC while on my period? I just want to make sure this diet is effective for me, and that the HGC works for me. What do you think I should do? I wanna start tomorrow. Today is my 3rd day of bleeding. I hope I stop soon! There is no telling when I may stop because I know this is an effect from stopping my BC pills. Thanks in advance!
