Yes, it would be very, very bad to have a bowl of cereal. After P2, you should begin P3, which is no sugar and no starch. Cereal is starch. In three weeks, you can begin P4 where you gradually add back in starches and sugar. At that time, you can try some cereal.

You've worked really hard to lose this weight...don't mess it up now.
