Hello,

Title says it all. Since I have over 80 lbs to lose I thought I should have been one of the many, many people on here who I read have lost almost 30 lbs in the first 30 days. There are sooo many posts with these stats that I must admit to being a bit depressed that I am not one of them.

I have not broken protocol at all. I know I do not always get 500 calories in, but Dr. S says it is OK to eliminate anything except the protein, so if I have not been hungry I did not force feed myself lol.

I sometimes have had the melba, but have cut it out b/c I plan to be grain free. Many days I do not have fruit...I went 7 days without fruit to help get rid of a bad candida break out and since adding it back it has been only a few strawberries OR one apple in a day, never more than 1 fruit on the day I have one, which is not every day.

I eat more fish than any other meat. I cut out lean hamburger a week ago after realizing that beef and tomatoe (as in chili) causes me to gain terribly

I so wanted to be way into onederland by the 30 day mark and no way that can happen now, can't lose 7 lbs in 3 days.

Is there *anything* I am missing?? I was up .4 today and can not figure out why. I drink at least 100 oz of water per day, not counting tea and occassional seltzer with Stevia flavoring.

Can seltzer and Stevia cause slow losses or gains?

Oh, I am also constipated now the past 4 or 5 days but I take magnesium. Can that cause a gain or a slow down? I hate to use anything for it, but this morning (warning: graphic info coming!) I had a *pebble* type come out but there was blood when I wiped so I know how hard they must be in there.

Should I use a glycerin supp? I do not want to start on the path of laxatives for sure. Anything I may have at home to use to help?

Thank you and I am not knocking the HCG protocol at all...plan to do this until I reach goal. I am just sad b/c I should have lost more this first month when I look at all the posts.
Look at your slower losses this way: you've learning what your body doesn't like (tomatoes and hamburger). This is really helpful. Had you been eating chicken, as well as fish, your losses may have been greater. You are experimenting and learning how food impacts your body - and, hopefully, will continue to incorporate this knowledge well after HCG. Stay on course with 40 days, you will lose more pounds and inches and continue to lose inches in P3/P4.
