The point of p2 is to allow the hypothalamus to rest by eating a clean, low sugar low carb diet and burning fat for energy.....resulting in weight loss and inches lost. Every time you cheat, you nudge the hypothalamus to work again....sort of like if you wake up every hour on the hour all night long vs sleeping the night through. I don't think an occasional cheat hurts the process, but if it's a daily thing, that's a problem. The cold feeling is a sign, but if you are menopausal or have other hormone issues, you won't necessarily feel it. Hope this helps! .
