I love very lean hamburger patties. I make ahead and freeze so I can grab one with some veggies for a quick meal. I love cabbage, broccoli,cauliflower and asparagus. Also make chicken soup with chicken breast, broth, Rotel tomatoes,cumin and chili powder. Sometimes I add cabbage and sometimes pre cut broccoli slaw that I pick out all the carrots. Sometimes I cook a very lean rump roast and it is a real treat. I know some of these veggies are not strict protocol, but I have had no problems losing .5 lbs per day. I also seem to do better with beef for some reason, so I eat it often.
