Hello! This is my first round also. I am on day 12 of very low calorie diet and I am down 12 pounds total. I am not a very creative cook. I have 1/2 grapefruit with Truvia sweetener and black coffee with same sweetener every am. Then for lunch I have salad with blackened chicken (a bunch of spices only - no sugar or flower - paprika/cumin/white pepper/garlic powder - make 4 breasts at a time and stick in fridge for 2-3 days and grab 1/2 breast for lunch and dinner.) I make a killer dressing with french dijon mustard (find one with no sugar) and mix with salt/pepper and apple cider vinegar. Packs a punch but super yummy! Dinner is usually the same or I use my pre made chicken and steam some zucchini or mushrooms with squirt of lemon and some salt. Then for my big treat at night I have 1 apple chopped and poor a ton of cinnamon and add trivia - microwave for 3 minutes, top with cottage cheese. When I make this at work everyone goes nuts - it smells so yummy everyone thinks I am eating apple pie.
Seems boring but by day 12 my appetite is so diminished that this is more than enough food. Good luck! Hang in there. The first 5 days were the toughest for me but it has really been a breeze!
