Wow kajola that is awesome, thank you that really helps.
philles rogaine is otc, but reten A is RX (my derma gave me a couple of tubes he had as samples), but its low percent cousin, retinol is otc, you just have to find a product like Daily Orange that you can add a little into your shampoo or rogaine, but be careful because you want a product that dissolves easily and not a cream base that defeats the DHT blocker (the action of rogaine).
kimg if you are middle age I can not stress the need to get more hormone balanced if you can afford it. I do not think hCG causes more problems, I just think it highlights what is already coming in menopause. For me I feel better on bio-identical hormone creams, and when I take hCG I get the same "good" feeling (I don't do them at the same time). But when I end it I get the same issues as when I stop creams, so I know so much of this is hormone based.
Its a big reason why I am having issue with hhcg being pulled off the market, because I feel like the government is trying to limit our options of taking care of our self and forcing us all on the path of drugs...and paying through the nose for it
sorry just my view, hCG is the first thing in a long time that has given me control and once I am off it I will need to figure out a way to stay in control with out medications
