HI! Welcome aboard. My name is Jaime too! I am going to be honest right off the bat...Zucchini is not on the Original Hcg Protocol and combining veggies is a no no. The good news is that you have an option to not follow protocol. Read the original manuscript called "pounds and inches" before you start asking to many questions because people can get SUPER tsety about it. Here is the link: http://www.hcgbodyshaper.com/simeon.pdf Use the search function for a list of protocol foods and see what works for you and what doesnt. I combine CERTAIN raw veggies and will use tomato as my fruit sometimes. I will combine lettuce and cucumbers but nothing else. So I can have two cups of lettuce with a few slices of cucumber chopped up, a tomato chopped up, and 3.5 ounces of chicken. I never combined cooked veggies. I read somewhere that mixing the cooked enzymes can cause sugar issues in the blood (it may be crap but I follow it anyway). I am on VLCD4 and I've lost 5.5lbs. I am considered "rogue" or "off Protocol" because I combine, I use splenda on ocassion, and I will use shirataki noodles if I'm feeling really hungry (only did this once so far on day 2, but was fine with it so I will use them on occasion). GL and i hope you find all the info you are looking for.
