Default hCG causing hypoglycemic reactions?
Hello all. Well I am on VLCD4 and have lost 6 lbs, whoo hoo! However, for the second time today I have experienced what I think I think is a hypoglycemic attack. I had one yeseterday while just sitting at my desk, typing away. Nothing strenuous... I thought I was going to pass out. I felt completely out of it, weak, nauseous, shaky, etc. One of the girls at my office went and got me a packet of raw sugar and I ate 1/2 of it. Felt better within 30 min, and had no other symptoms yesterday. This morning, however I got extremely light-headed while I was driving to work on the interstate. I had to pull over and eat my apple (which I normally eat at 10:30). It really scared me. I talked to my hcg coach at the clinic, and she said I needed to eat protein(3 egg whites), melba toast, and 1/2 a fruit in the morning. I started feeling out of it again around 11:30am, and ate my shrimp and salad... didnt help. It got worse,a nd I started seeing spots, so I ate another protein serving and 1/2 an apple. I still felt like I was going to pass out. Finally I drank 1 cup of skim milk, and that finally helped me. I am worried that I am not going to be able to do this diet anymore soon. I am loving my results, and do not want to quit, but it is starting to seem dangerous to continue. Plus, what if I get like that while driving again.... I have never had issues with blood sugar before.. could the VLCD be causing this. Has anyone had any issues like this and been able to complete this diet? Help!!!!
