It sounds to me like you got into a blood vessel in your leg, thats why you felt it go down your thigh. The other issues are subcutaneous nerves that you are getting close to. Move away from the places that have gotten ouch....either go closer or further away from BB...since you are 3 inches away, its ok to move an inch back towards it. Also, have you changed to a different type of syringe? some needles seem to be not as sharp as others, and they can hurt more. I don't know which brands do that, I think its different for different people....but Ive seen this if folks change brands of syringes. Hope this helps.
