I used to benefit from doing a three lower calorie days and one higher calorie day when I was dieting. Kind of following the famine/feast scenario where if you eat famine-style continuously your body adjusts. If you eat a bit more every 3rd or 4th day it helps with the low calorie days.

Of course this was all before starting hcg.
